Individual Therapy for School-Age Children
Empowering communication through individualized language, pragmatic, and articulation therapy. With your support, we can take the frustration out of talking and give your child the confidence to speak up and share their voice with the world!
Therapy Services
Articulation Therapy
If your child struggles to be understood by friends and family, articulation therapy may help. Articulation therapy teaches your child exactly how to move their tongue, lips, teeth, and jaw to produce clear, correct sounds. During our fun and engaging sessions, we use playful strategies to help your child master tricky sounds.
Expressive-Receptive Language Therapy
Children who struggle to clearly share their thoughts or understand the "words" around them may benefit from language therapy. Therapy sessions use engaging conversation, games, books, and toys to help your child find the right words to express themselves.
Pragmatic Language Therapy
When a child struggles with pragmatic language, they might know plenty of words, but they may find it hard to fit in socially. Therapy helps children learn to read facial expressions, take turns in conversations, and understand body language. It gives them the tools they need to make meaningful friendships and effectively communicate in any social setting.
Alternative and Augmentative Communication
For children who find it difficult to speak, or who cannot speak at all, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) provides a voice. AAC encompasses a wide variety of tools, ranging from simple picture boards to high-tech speech-generating devices. Therapy focuses on finding the perfect communication system for your child's unique strengths and teaching them—and your entire family—how to use it naturally everyday.
